I'm just a few nuts and bolts away from sending out my plenum and I/Hs to get ported......
My question is when I get it back I'm thinking I may,or I should say definately I will need help installing them back in..
I have a friend who is a top performance mechanic but I'm just guessing he may be unreliable when I get the parts back..
So, my question - are there any members in the NY area that could help? Of course without question I will pay you generously , I just want the job done...I just would feel more comfortable doing it with someone who is familiar with this..
I am located in Brookyln NY just five minutes from Verrazano bridge...I would even pick you up..Car is a 91 and in my garage..
Thank you....John..

If you were closer I'd be more than happy to lend a hand, for free (so would a bunch of others). If your going to pull the plenum and IH yourself, you might as well drop it back in yourself. It's not too difficult of a job. Plenty here could help guide you if you run into trouble. Make sure you have a FSM and get new plenum and IH gaskets (Jerry) and you'll need a chip with a tune, to maximize the porting (Marc). If you haven't done it already, you might as well change the coil packs, injectors, plugs, and wires while you have the plenum off.

Post up any questions along the way. I just dug in there and did it all myself for the first time the forum was a huge help to me and I got it all done without issue. If I was closer I'd lend a hand but I'm in Toronto. are you eliminating the secondaries or anything ?

Thanks for the replies so far guys....I basically did all the removal myself....My friend stopped by and just guided me for a few minutes..
Should have everything off soon and hoping to send it out this week...
Hopefully when I get it back I will get a response from a member personally and go from there.....Any questions I have I will definately post no matter how ridiculous they are..
Not eliminating the secondaries but how can I tell if the injectors were changed? Serial numbers on them?

They should be branded with names like Accel or RC. I don't know if FIC labels theirs. If they are plain black and generic looking they are prob OEM. If you are considering replacing them make sure they have stainless inserts to avoid rusting and melting like the OEM units did. GC

No name brands just plain silver in color....The passenger side injectors have serial numbers 1637......The drivers side are different serial numbers...
