I don't know, but at $3000 I'd be curious what the alternatives might be if one had to have one? Megasquirt maybe?? IDK.

One of the benefits of bypassing the TB w/ the coolant is the plenum runs much cooler now; a good thing.

It is listed on here. The buy it now on ebay is 2600.00. It's been relisted about 7 times. I just bought a NIB unit for 1090.00 from another user on here. About 3 weeks ago a NIB one sold on ebay for 763.00. We're a long way from them being worth 2600.00.

That does wonders for the LT5 community.

The Mega Squirt set up uses the DIS and that is a major drawback.

While people are more than welcome to sell things for whatever price they want, I have mixed feelings about listing something for the "I really don't want to sell it" price and then leading the ZR1 community to believe that 2500-3000 is the going price, or even claiming you don't know the current price but that's what you want. I did give the seller a friendly heads up about what I paid for the one I just bought. He's pretty set on his price. Which is why he'll continue to own his NIB DIS for quite awhile.

As far as the megasquirt....since the LT5 megsquirt details haven't been released to the public, it seems irrelevant. Although I would think that the ignition would be the easier thing to sort out than the sum of the rest of the project.

I was concerned a bit about it at one point but already having a standalone on my 93.. If mine ever fails I will go the standalone route I think . Assuming there aren't any major complications. Does the LT5 have cam and crank pickups ?
