A buddy of mine turned me on to this. It's very local to me, so I'll be there this coming Saturday.
Saleen Motorsports is right off the 91 Freeway at Serfas Club Drive (near In & Out).
Thanks
George

I went this morning with my son and buddy who brought his 2015 Z06. We saw a wide variety of classic muscle and exotics. There were some really cool Saleen cars too. There was one other ZR-1 (1991 black/black) on display and the owner and I spent a lot of time chatting. The Corona Chamber of Commerce served coffee and it was a very cool, well organized, and laid back event. Good times had by all. I made a small sign to stand by my car.... It came out OK, but I have plans to make it a little nicer.

Was Steve Saleen there? Are they still in business? Thought they declared bankruptcy.

I believe he was there, but I wasn't really paying attention when my friend pointed him out. The company is currently in business, but I believe it is different than the one he originally started. Here's a link to their website: www.saleen.com.

My son and I attended today. Saleen was having an open house/show so we got to see a wide variety of their creations (Tesla, Challenger, and LOTS of Mustangs). Steve Saleen was on hand. Here's a pic of him with my son in front of a 2015 Mustang....

We'll be at tomorrow's Cars&Coffee. In the last two weeks we've had a 60th Anniversary 427, Ford GT, Lotus Evora, 1912 Buick, and a variety of classic muscle cars. People have been enjoying our ZR-1 and when the hood goes up, it never fails to pull people in. They especially enjoy looking at the copy of the window sticker I display and marvel that the ZR-1 option was over $31K that long ago.....

There was a nice turnout today. Corvettes, a 458 Italia, lots of classic muscle, and some old VW's too. The ZR-1 is getting a fair amount of attention- people stop, chat and check out the sign we've made. My son is becoming fairly adept at telling the story of the LT-5 and the KOTH!

Good turnout today. We had a BMW I8, new Viper, and a Zimmer Golden Spirit. We made another sign with magazine covers from way back, when the ZR-1 was new!

Some Saturdays are easier than others to get up and get the ZR-1 out on the road. Today we made it to Cars and Coffee and were glad we did. Lots of cool stuff: '56 Cadillac, Ferrari's, variety of corvettes, and classic muscle. The event is growing each week. Here are a couple pics.

The event had even more cars today. A variety of corvettes, old/new mustangs, an awesome old 911, a few VW's, classic muscle, and a 70's van conversion club showed up- complete with shag carpet, bubble windows, and 8 track tape players. A real highlight was meeting 2 corvette enthusiasts from Las Vegas (Ron and Hoss) who drove down for the day to attend a few events. Good times.

They closed a stretch of the 91 Fwy in Corona (major corridor used by tons of people in this part of So Cal) last night for 55 hours to make improvements (the media called it Coronageddon), so we weren't sure how many people would make it out today. There were around 40 cars or so, including this beautiful 458 Italia.

Pretty decent turnout today and a nice variety of cars. My son and I spent some time with the gentleman who brought the 1963 split window. Great car and a good story too.

Great weather, good assortment of cars. The ZR-1 (thanks in part to the signs we made) draws plenty of attention and people never fail to take a moment and gaze at the beauty of the LT-5. My son and I are doing our part to keep the legend alive!

Plenty of sunshine and plenty of cars. Today was probably the biggest turnout so far and there was something for everybody- C7.R, Porshce GT3, muscle, exotics, and everything in between.....

Haven't uploaded in a bit. Today's turnout was pretty strong. I had never seen a Fisker Karma in person- pretty cool car. Still getting over the sight of 400+ Corvettes that showed up at the 2016 Plastic Fantastic all Corvette car show in San Diego last weekend.....

Haven't posted in a while, but we've been attending most weeks. The event has grown over time and now averages around 60-70 cars/week. The Corona Chamber of Commerce serves coffee and pastries, and everyone has a great time. Here's a few pics of some of the cars that showed up over the last two weeks....and a shot of my son rockin' his registry T Shirt!
