Hi Jeff--We missed you! There were about 20 cars by the time everyone arrived. Weather was perfect and great burgers etc. Lots of fun as usual. Others will post some pictures no doubt; I took mine early with fewer cars. George (Gunny) came up from Georgia to drop his car off of some Haibeck massaging and I know he took some.--Bob

For those of you that are familiar with Boys Scouts and their Leadership training..
I spent the weekend on my second half of Wood Badge Training
So I still had a ton of fun

Bob's correct ... I took several pics and will process/post them when I get back to Georgia. Jeff, I indeed missed another opportunity to get some pics of your RPO C60 ride ... sorry I missed seeing/visiting with you.

while not as familiar with BSA as you I was grateful that our younger son achieved eagle and also spent 3 summers at Philmont, one of the greater experiences he had growing into adulthood.

Whittin' Chip?
Yes my son earned his within the first few weeks of boy scouts. Wood Badge is the boy scout take on the Professional Management courses.. BUT the Scout course is much more fun.

It was great seeing so many ZR-1 enthusiasts and was my first time to Marc's shop. The drive from Georgia was, for the most part, very enjoyable ... altho I-65 north from Indianapolis was a real pain in the a$$ (literally). I think I will find a better route back to Georgia when I go back for my Z in a few weeks.
Many thanks to Marc and his wonderful family for hosting such a perfect event. Oh, and one more thing (as Colombo always said) ... Marc, where did you locate all the "trained" bees that provided the entertainment during lunch?

As always, thanks for the pictures George. Brett Henderson's shop is just north of Indy on I-65 and then there's the Auburn Auto Museum. Just fantastic pieces of art there. Might be worth your while on the way back.
Thanks again for taking us along!

The museum at Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a "must see" even you're not a big race fan.
Not too far off I-65 at the corner of Georgetown and 16th.

Great pix George, as usual, and nice to see you up here. As to a better route back, look at going down I-57 in Illinois instead of I-65 in Indiana. As Marc and I mentioned, we have been using that route to BG for a few years since I-65 has been so full of tank traps and potholes. --Bob

... As to a better route back, look at going down I-57 in Illinois instead of I-65 in Indiana ...
Yes, we talked about that Sunday afternoon and after checking the maps it looks like fewer than 20 miles difference between the 2 routes. So I'm all set to try the I-57 route for the return trip until ...
suggestions were made that I should definitely see the Auburn Museum, stop by & see Brett, and visit the Indianapolis Motor Speedway museum.
Decisions, decisions ... I'll have to first check the calendar to see if I can manage the extra stops and then check the map to see how to avoid the pothole king known as I-65.
speaking of potholes ... the flight from O'Hare to Atlanta was full of "pocket holes" ... roughest flight I've been on since some "forgettable" military flights some 45 years ago. The turbulence was absolutely incredible yet there wasn't a cloud in the sky.
