The exhaust is very mellow. has anyone tried to take out the resonators and run just the mufflers? Im curious as to how it would sound.

I would veture to say a lot like straight pipes. If u look at corsa resonators, you would see they are pretty much a 2.5 inch pipe with slots cut near the front of the can to create the wave reflections.
I always thought the Corsa was pretty loud myself, but without the resonance in the car it was more loud for everybody else on the street.
