Say it isn't so. Well sorry to say but it is, I am selling my 1993 Ruby to the first one that comes up with the cash. This is the Only Ruby ZR-1 that Callaway ever touched. $32,000.00 OBO
25K miles
You all know the Car well so I should not have to go into specifics.
Callaway "Cheif Performance Package"
Brembo Calipers
OZ wheels
Aluminum Radiator
4.10 Gears
Coil-Over Shocks
Custom Headliner
When I bought the Car it did not come with the Colored top or the original Wheels, In the last three Years I have been able to track down the original owner and was able to purchase the wheels and colored top. These parts are also included in the price of the car.
The car is spotless and will be fully detailed for the new owner.

Dom, Just getting tired of shelling out for storage for a car that does not get used.
Jeff, I would like to say there is something that I am looking at, but that wouldn't be the truth. I have the two project cars that I need to finish before I commit to any other Vette. Now if a great opportunity comes along there is nothing that will stop me from adding to the collection.
Out of all of my cars the Ruby is the one that cannot be replaced, it is a 1 of 1
The 03 Anniversary Car is for sale as well.

Hey Robert,
I can empathise with your dilemma of paying for storage. I finally got a warehouse to get my collection together from the various hiding places I have had to stash them in.
For those of us not yet familiar with your beasty, can you give us the run down of the Callaway upgrades? Also what Reg# is it?
I am actually in the market, and I love the idea of a 1 of 1 Callaway.
Thanks!

Exhaust,
Brembo brakes,
Coil over shocks.
OZ Wheels
Heck the upgrades above would cost you 10K if you could find the Brakes and Wheels.
The Previous owners Lou Risotto stated the car has engine upgrades that were done by Callaway. When I purchased the Top and Wheels from him I was at his home in Spring Texas. There were many photos of Him and Reeves. I do not have any other proof that anything was done to the engine.
The car has new coil packs, Injectors and wires. Done in the last 4 years I should say.
I barely drive the car now, When I do get the LPE or the Shinoda complete I am sure that I will drive it like the 98 Pace car in the photos. Last time I drove the Pace car was 2011.

Double D Exhaust,
Brembo Front Calipers, Rotors and Rear Rotors,
Coil over shocks.
OZ Wheels.
I have no clue what engine mods are done as I never had to do anything to the car other than change the oil every year.
I can tell you it will stay next to my Purple Aerobody at a 60 roll. My Purple car has a DRM500

The Chief Performance Package is all computer up grade.
I have it in my LM!
The engine package is all lightwight forged internals, ported heads, proted intake, heads matched to headers, and cams qualified.That would be Super Natural 475!
Super Natural 490 has the big header cats!

John, I did not show this as a SNAT because I do not have receipts for that work. Original owner Lou Risotto owns King Fabrication in Houston he stated he is good friends with Reeves and the SNAT package was installed in Old Lyme, When I talked to Betty before she retired, She stated there is no record of this car having the SNAT package. Like I said it will stay next to my Aerobody that has more than 500HP at a 60 roll. this car does have the Monster Header cats. Cats look like they should be used as a garbage can.

We sold three of the other cars already. This car will be like the last three, if it sells great, If it doesn't sell great.
78 Pacecar L82 4-speed with gymkana suspension and stock CB. This car started the great sell off. A buddy of mine offered me 35K, How could I pass on an offer like that.
95 Pacecar 18K miles, Sold to my younger brother for 16K.
03 50th Anniversary Pacecar sold last week for 23K.
I the Ruby sells you might see the 91 SB/SB 9K miles as well as the Aerobody.
That will leave me with the LPE and a 98 Pacecar with 1600 miles.

Not stepping on anyone's toes, but I vaguely remember that the "CHIEF" package wording was an acronym that Callaway used. I will take a guess...
C = Calibration
H = Headers
I = Induction
E = Exhaust
F = Flywheel
That, I am guessing is real close. Callaway is basically addressing these areas.

Robert, the '93 looks great. Your picture with Reaves, brings back memories of Bloomington Gold, because even though I have never personally met you, I think that at the exact time you were getting your picture taken, I had just made it to the ZR-1 area and was about 30 ft. away, talking to Marc H. and member "ghlkal", who was showing Marc his newly acquired ZR-1. :cheers:
If you sell her, find her a good home!

Work was done by Callaway on 11/03/95, Account Manager was Mike Zoner This car was featured in Vette Magazine November 1995.
