That's actually pretty cool. Would like to hear from someone who has one how good it is before buying though...

Hey! Good to know there's movement toward a reasonably priced scope. 7mm eliminates most of my competition stuff (5.56 and 6 mm), but should work on the "30s"!
And, I imagine this would be a solution to inspecting the chambers of our LT5s as well?? Worth exploring, methinks!

I tried using this unit connected to a laptop with Windows 8. I had no luck with it . The problem was a software glitch with M/S 8.I used it on a older laptop with Windows XP and it worked fine. The borescope showd the piston top & cylinder walls very good on the bright setting. The borescope could find some of the valves but not well. And couldn't view the cylinder head from the spark plug hole. We didn't send the borescope down the intake to view oil and carbon buildup in there. Maybe in the future.
There are no secondaries in this engine that could stop the scope from getting all the way to the intake valve.
Bear in mind that this is a very inexpensive borescope. For the price the scope is worth it IMO. Seeing under the plenum etc. can also be a huge reward.
