I forgot all about it until I received my reminder from SEMASAN. I guess I'll take off the car cover and bring the Beast to work tomorrow.
Let's get our there and represent for the real ZR-1s! :fahne:
See you on the road......

Hey P,
Thanks! I posted a photo when I got it with my CCWs (but black centers). I thought too much black with these Dymags made for my red 90. I had the stock A molds on the other week for the car show, but I think I like them best with the CCWs so far. I gotta lower this car a bit.

The CCWs look great. I like its look with Dymags even more.
No public appreciation day driving for me. My car is on jack stands, getting ready for it's first ever exhaust upgrade. Woohoo!

Car looks awesome, Craig. The black/red-striped combo is stunning!
Can't drive mine until I replace the coolant pump. Mountain Run 3 exposed a weakness with the pump that will get tended to before the Woodward Cruise.

Thanks. Yes, some folks love that blacked out look and I know that is quite popular with C6/7s I have seen. Sounds good and I have a custom exhaust in the works myself.

There was supposed to be something going on at the Blackhawk Museum in our area according to the SEMA website, but not according to the museum's own website. Sounds like an awesome event in Phoenix!!:o

My LT5 stayed at home, but I drove my 78 Pace Car to work and got stuck in traffic.. Not fun as I live in Az. and the a/c was low on charge due to a factory defect that no one ever took care of. At this point it is not worth removing the fender to repair. However, I did take the Z out late last night to stretch her legs. Of course upsetting the wife I I usually do.

I did go to the gathering last night at Kmart/mixteca not too many car as it was still pretty hot out. Here in Az it is reverse from the rest of the country as every hibernates during winter and we have beautiful weather. Then the summer comes around and makes you hate it.
I drove mine! But there's nothing really exceptional about that.

Hey, that is probably more of a collector car than our Zs. I have a Jim Beam filled porcelain 78 pace car that my grandmother gave me from their store some 20 years ago.

I did not find any local gatherings last night. It does not get so hot here so trying to enjoy driving when I can.

I did not see a lot of folks driving their collector cars yesterday so I guess not so well known yet. I think it said 6th year?

PaulSorry, Paul. Just noticed your question here.
Yes, I got it, and it looks very nice. You probably should be charging more money for it. :-)
My car is high up on jack stands(*), probably for a while. I'm going to try and tackle several projects at the same time - mostly headers, exhaust and radiator, but also shifter, steering pin and maybe vacuum leak and A/C squealing.
* I bought some big, wide HD jack stands for this project.

Oh no Russ, you got the "while I'm at it bug"....lol. I remember doing the same and it was a year later while the projects kept growing.

Yeah, Craig. I'm sure I'm not the first (or last).
Currently, the A/C squeals so much so it hasn't been as comfortable to drive around (except at night), so I figured this is a good time for the work. Meanwhile, my Miata is a great DD. I'll be doing another track day with the ZR-1 in September, so that will help me get things done in time.
Saw your center muffler plan in the other thread. I considered that but wasn't sure if I could find one that fit in the tunnel. I decided to go with SW X-pipe, which, I guess is a made-to-order piece, so I wont get it until August. Hopefully we'll both end up with systems we like. I'm going from stock, too.

Best wishes with your projects and resolutions. I intend to put the SW pipe I have on the shelf on the 90 if I keep that car, but it looks like I will sell it later so we'll see. I have an appointment on Friday to swap out the components on the stock system and will post my results.
