Hi! I am new to this forum!

This last May I purchased my 1st corvette ZR1 from a private seller in Iowa. It is a 1995 black on black ZR1 with 12,375 miles. It is #95 of 448 and it is all stock except for a B&B exhaust system.

I also own a 1995 red corvette LT1 that I am now trying to sell. After driving the ZR1 I am completely bored now with the LT1 now. Lol. Anyways I just wanted to say hello. I have been checking out this forum for the last month and there is a lot of knowledge here so I look forward to browsing and asking questions. I really love my new car and look forward to babying it and having fun in it.

I have been halfway looking for a ZR1 the last couple years, specifically a 1995 black one. After fully recovering from a health scare this past May I just happened to notice one for sale on Ebay so I watched it for a week and it didn't sell so I messaged the seller, got his contact info and called him then drove 400 miles to look at it. I decided I wanted to get one now and this was exactly what I wanted. I do like the 95's because it was the last year of the ZR1 so I figure it may hold their value better.

So here I am, the proud owner of my dream car! A 1995 black corvette ZR1 #95! I really couldn't think of another car I wanted more! Those who say it is a calling are correct, it really is.

Nice car! I had a black on black 95 LT1 Vette I wish I could have kept, but a guy was offering me $15k for it at the time I was about to buy the Z...I couldn't resist.

But, you're right! After my first test drive in the (then stock) 90 ZR-1, I knew that car was "it" - my dream (well, along with a 63 SWC; the Vette that gave me a serious case of "hot running wants" ever since!)

Welcome to the Registry and the "Brotherhood of the Beast!"

95 black/black is about as good as it gets. Of course, fact that I own a 94 black/black makes me somewhat partial...

So now you understand what makes the rest of us such fans. Just a warning tho. Don't drive a modded ZR-1.

Welcome to the brotherhood. If you are not doing anything this Sunday and would like to drive to Joliet we have a group that is going to be in the car show and on the track.

Welcome to the family. I recently added a 95 Black/Black to my garage too. I simply love it. Enjoy and get out and drive that car.
