How often do you see three titans of their time together? Really wish I had a set of headers and b&b's tonight

TR's came in quite a few colors. Remember Miami Vice? White was perfect for that time period:)

That view kinda reminds me of one of those old "Justification for Higher Education" posters...

I believe the original color for the MV TR was black. Michael Mann had it re-painted white so it showed up better in the night scenes of the show. Ferrari did not offer the TR in white.

Great shot. And it's nice to know that both of those gorgeous vehicles would come in second in a street contest with the little Chevy.
Most of us are very used to the knowledge that the C4 ZR-1 is not the fastest thing on the street anymore, but among it's vintage peers it still rules:fahne:......KEYS ON indeed.

That's right. The first one was black and might have been a repaint, not sure. But Ferrari did offer the TR's in white. Seen a few. You can even google it. Ortho doc I work with has been a big Ferrari guy for decades. He's had a white one as well as a black one. He's got an F12 now.

I believe that Michael Mann's production co. had three white TR's, one stock for the wide shot, and two cut up to allow camera mounts. This was during the film days when it was more difficult to mount cameras.
Of course the "Daytona Spider" in the early years of Miami Vice was actually a Corvette re-bodied, an automatic. That great Ferrari sound was dubbed in later.
