I found a leak in my oil cooler line running from the radiator area to the engine on my 1990 ZR-1, at the part where the rubber is crimped to the metal. It looks like I have to replace it. Do I have to replace the whole oil cooler or is it a simple repair where I just replace the hose? Can someone recommend a site or a link to guide me? Is there an upgrade available for this part; such as a stainless braided line and where can I get one?

The upgrade worth considering is the braided stainless ... looks good and should provide good service; otherwise, replace the hose set with a quality replacement.
However, there is a third option IF it is important to stay OEM (for judging, etc.) ... replace it with an OEM hose, probably used since originals are NLA. I took off my original (non-leaking, low miles) hose and replaced it with braided stainless. If you're interested in going that direction, PM me.

FYI: We used to offer the black rubber hoses that are being sold by a number of different vendors. All roads generally lead to Rome and I would imagine that is true with these hoses, meaning they are all probably made by the same supplier.
About 10% of those hoses developed leaks within 1 year and that's why we quit offering them.
Now, we make our own, in-house, from Edelbrock-Russell components. Every hose is pressurized with air to 110 psig and submerged in water for bubble test before going in stock.
