I drove the z from Yakima, WA to Bowling Green, then to Addison IL to have Marc do injectors and chip, and will start the return to WA state today. Will have traveled just under 5000 miles, AC on half the time. I reset the mpg computer when I left WA state and it is currently reading 27.8 at Marc's shop. (3.45 stock gears) However, my biggest surprise to my wife and I is our lack of stiffness after long driving stints. Although the car is not easy to get in and out, it is very comfortable and relaxing on 12 hour runs. Last two weeks have been a blast!

Great news Jim. I was parked next to you at the car show, red ZR-1 with white stripe, I hope you have as good a trip from Marc's back home as you did to BG. I'm sure Marc will get you fixed up. Nice to meet you and be safe heading back to Washington. :USFlag:

My wife and I drove 18 hours to BG a couple years ago. Both of us arrived in fine shape. She was impressed. Now if I can get her to go again.....

Thanks for sharing about your Corvette Road Trip. I agree that the ZR-1 is a wonderful touring car. Chevrolet really did a good job designing the ZR-1 to be an all-out super car.
