He returns to Ft Rucker Alabama to start his AH 64-E Model Apache Helicopter training in 10 days. To state I am not stoked or proud of him would be an understatement.

Go Army

BTW is all my fault this is him 20 years ago when as a young Army Major I put him the back seat of my best friends Apache A model lol

Congrats to you and your son, Good to see all the proud fathers here who have raised children to believe in this great country and are willing to support all of us and help keep us free. Not as common a thing today as it once was. :Eagle::saluting::USFlag::fahne:

Congrats and great you could share this proud father/son moment with your father. I wish mine was still here but he was there in spirit.

Congrats to you too GC. Sorry I won't be meeting you. I remember being pinned as a Warrant Officer and proudest day in my life. I know how much it means to have there. See you at another Gathering in the future.

Congratulations to all the proud fathers. 46 years ago this month I too graduated and pinned on the WO-1 pin and wings. Looks like there are a few of us on the registry.

My best wishes for the future to the new officers and their families.

That day will happen.. same here as a 2LT Artillery Officer. After 30 years it was time to pass it on to the new generation.
