Well, I've had my 91 red w/ black interior ZR1 for a whole week. That elusive full power mode isn't on due to someone elses abuse and neglect of the car before I bought it, but I expect to have that ironed out next Monday (crossing fingers) in time for snow up here in the Northeast so I may not get to really enjoy the car for a while. Meanwhile, it's a nice driver and I'm having fun with it, hunting for some racing wheels, tires, shocks, and assorted other stuff so I can do some higher speed autocrossing with this new toy.

Hi Barbara,
Welcome to the asylum. Anything you might need or need to ask can be had right here on the forum. Be sure to join the club for all the member stuff available. Parts catalog is a killer item all by itself.
What number is your car?

Welcome from another relative newbie. Best of luck getting things sorted out. Having the Beast out on a nice clear December day like today is awesome...

hi - thanks for the warm welcome. I actually have no idea what number my car is. And I've taken a couple of pictures but they aren't very good - so I'll try again.

Barbara - Welcome to the forum. Your car number is the last 4 digits of the VIN. You will truly enjoy the BEAST!!!

Oh... then I have a 1991 ZR1 #1840 Red exterior, black interior, Doug Rippie chip, one very loud exhaust, k&N air filter and the lid is open, I assume that's aftermarket. And I got the full power workign today. I shoud say my husband did. Either way, I enjoyed the car a bit more this afternoon. time to plan out the suspension changes...
