I recently bought all new wheel bearings. I know one of my rear bearings needed to be replaced, but I thought it would be a good time to replace all of them.

I ordered Moog brand parts from Advanced Auto Parts. The rear hubs are made in USA, but the fronts are made in Korea. I didn't even know Moog made parts outside the USA. The bearings weren't cheap. Definitely not as cheap as the brands on RockAuto. Should I be concerned about the quality of the parts? Has everyone really started to make stuff overseas?

The Korean C4 front bearings have a good reputation.

I have a 2000 toyota 4runner. For the 4runner community, moog lower ball joints have a high failure rate compared to stock toyota parts. Th lower ball joints on our trucks wear out and have catastrophic results when they fail.

I've bought SKF seveal times(at least the box said SKF). The first time with SKF part number stamped on the bearing(only 1), 2nd time national federal mogual(about 3 times), and the 3rd time no number with Korean stamped in a different location(1 time, but haven't tried this one yet). All the forgings appeared to be identical, even the Korean.

They held up good, probably won't try the Korean for a while cause I have a spare AC delco waiting.

I'm not going to look at part numbers anymore, just the box:icon_scra
