I promised a number of the good folks on here that I would post some pics of Roxie after I finished cleaning her up, so here we go. Also thanks for everyones advise on tips and tricks I'm amazed at what an improvement elbow grease did for this car.

Great looking Z! What did you use to clean/polish the aluminum suspension components? I have some typical very light corrosion on mine and was thinking of cleaning them up a bit. --Bob

Thanks for all the kind words guys. Bob (Warp Ten), I used Mothers Mag & Aluminum polish on all the aluminum parts I could get my fingers on. But, the process went like this. 1st - scrape off all the crude with a plastic putty knife. 2nd - soak with degreaser and rub off remaining crap (x2). 3rd - Scrub/Rub down everything with 00 steel wool. 4th - polish with the Mothers. Oh I forgot ! at least 1 adult beverage of choice between each step. Spent alot of hrs. on the car this winter but the satisfaction value is priceless. I know this will sound corny but it was like I could almost hear the car thanking me after I completed each project on her. Pics. are before and after ( with no new parts ). Crazy !

David, also great to know about your car in Ohio, is it a 90 or 91 ? I'm trying to get things arranged to make the BG get together in May, are you going ?

Thanks again guys for all your compliments. I'm with you Chris. Other than waxing this is the 1st car I have ever done a total paint correction on. A friend of mines son let me borrow his Ruppes buffer and gave me tech. tips. As I went through the stages she just kept getting a little prettier with each step.
Now, she's not a 10 but on a scale of 1-10 I think most would give her a strong 8. My wife almost accused earlier today of sneaking behind her back and having it painted.
That's funny cause we've been married for 30 years and I learned a long time ago what a dumb move that would be.
