My 94 will be 1 year for me April 6th, where has the time gone???
When first purchased I noticed that there were only two nuts attached to the ECM. And of course one disappeared.....so another member mentioned the size that they may be and I just couldn't find them any where, even checked ebay. I ended up with a smaller nut, but the correct fitment, so I went with them.....
Well today made another trip to Fastenal to see what they might have in stock. They came through with replacement u joint bolts for my 82, as I am replacing both TA's and stripped two of the bolts....
So after a few minutes they found the exact size for our ECM's, but a different color, oh well!!!
Here are a few pics, that show the original, the replacement and the smaller replacement that I was using.

Part#0162816 they are M5's.....cost $.22 a piece almost had to buy the whole box, but let me purchase just 8.....:)
And you can also use a 10mm combo wrench to attach just like the originals.
I figured with the correct nuts on there now I should pick up an extra 3HP.

Not bursting, its even better @ 1HP per nut, as my calculations were off.
So it's really a 4HP increase......mmmmm now what else can I replace????:-D

Just try not to replace the nut behind the steering wheel. :)

Hey Clint, you have me laughing on that one.....that nut should have been replaced a long time ago....:D No telling how much of a HP increase that would have made......,:)

At our age, new nuts could kill you.

I believe that nut for the ECM is the same as the nut used to attach the rear fascia to the body, so you can switch one from the back that will not be seen with one of the Fastenal nuts. :-D

Good tip, will have to check that out.......
Well at least we have an alternative just in case these are no longer available from GM.....or just hard to find....

You are correct, they are also the same as the body trim and gas cap emblem on the early cars 90-91.

This is good to know. One of the spoiler nuts disappeared and this looks to be the exact nut I need. Thanks for the part number.
