As noted in the F/S section and other forums, WARP TEN is getting a professional paint correction and detail done today to get rid of 20 years of swirl marks. Great service in that they will come to your house when the weather isn't too great (still pretty cold here). Already looking better although hard to tell in the blurry photo. Bonus for a new owner. --Bob

Awesome Bob. I do have to add however, that I still think you are making a mistake in selling it!

It is a spectacular car and you do have a point. We'll see how things go. I have owned Zs off and on for almost 20 years. When I sold HIL KING I thought I was done with them, but then in 2012 I was back again with WARP TEN. If I can't sell it of course my worst case is I get to drive it :-D. And unless things change soon I plan to be in BG in May with it. --Bob

At this point, I am planning on being there too. If all works out, I look forward to meeting you Bob.

Got a few pics of the car after the work and it looks so much better without the swirls. Can't get full pics until I take it off the lift for its first Spring drive. As you can see our cars, like the new ones now, offered orange peel in the paint as a standard option. --Bob

Looks beautiful Bob. I did this myself two years ago. It's a lot of work. Much better with a lift, I don't. -Steve

Hi Tom--
I had someone do this for me, so I am not sure of the compound they used. I know that for the final sealer/finish coat they used C.A.R. Products Bulletproof Topper, a spray on/wipe off sealer, I think ceramic in nature. You can read about it on their website http://www.carproducts.biz/catalog/detail_warehouse/bullet_proof_series.html. Also, you can contact the guys who did the work. Company is LUSTR Detail in Schaumburg IL. The owner is Ivan Rajic. and I would imagine he would be glad to tell you what he used. His email is info@lustrdetail.com. Good guys to work with. By the way, before you dive in note that he and his partner spent about 6 hours doing the work. More than I wanted to do. In the future though I may use the spray bottle of Topper. But that's it! --Bob

Bob,

It looks awesome and I'm trying to convince my friend Steve in Hawaii to buy your Polo Green since that is the only one he is looking for to add to his stable.

Bob, thanks for the reply, appreciated......
I will check out the website.....just purchased another 3M product that is supposed to be great for dark painted vehicles, especially black. In fact it was recommended by another member on a different thread. And I already have enough polishes and waxes, etc., for 3 lifetimes.....just need to make the time to get it done.........anxious to see more pics when you get time.......Tom
