All,

It is with much sadness I inform you that we’ve suffered the loss of another long-time ZR-1 Net Registry member. Lieutenant Colonel Ralph “Pete” Pallotta, U.S. Army (Ret), known here on the forum as "EVILTWINS" was passionate about his 1995 ZR-1, and well known and well liked among ZR-1 Net Registry members throughout. He frequently orchestrated and participated in various area ZR-1 events in the Northeast region, and had expressed to us his goal to go 200 at the Mojave Space Port in California this year. He passed away suddenly on February 18th, 2015, before he was able to accomplish this goal. We will sorely miss Pete, and his passion.

We have set up our web store to accept donations in increments of $5 in order for us to reach our goal of $150 for a ZR-1 memorial brick for Pete at the NCM. Additionally, we’ve provided a link to Pete's obituary, which allows members to view the requests of the family and donate as they see fit.

The link to the “In Memoriam” section of our web store is: http://www.zr1netregistry.com/Marketplace/RevStoreTest/ProductDetail/tabid/239/rvdsfpid/pete-pallotta-memorial-brick-at-the-ncm-104/Default.aspx

We as a community are very saddened by such a great loss, and very much appreciate your donation in support of our fallen member, Pete Pollatta.

With heavy heart,
Mark

Steve,

We collected enough for Pete's Brick in a matter of days. His brick was ordered last week, and in anticipated to be available for the Gathering in plenty of time.

Thanks to everyone who contributed. I'm certainly proud to be associated with such a great group of people who look out for one another - and you guys certainly have.

Regards,
Mark
