Hello, I have reluctantly decided to sell my '91 Z. The only reason I am selling is to help finance my off road racing effort. I would love to finish perfecting this car and have some spare parts I am including. This is a very nice looking grey ZR1 with only 42,828 miles. The grey Paint is one of a kind and very nice. The car is gorgous and shows excellent. The body and wheels have been updated to give the car the latter 1994 look (Side gills and wheels). The engine, 6 speed trans, tires and brakes are all excellent. The exhaust system is stainless B&B. It has brand new fuel injectors that are compatible with the ethanol as well as many other new parts.

Call for details if interested Bob, 972-571-2535

that steel blue?

No it was very professionally changed. The color is a standard color. It am not sure exactly what grey it is, but could find out for a serious buyer. I had some paint work done (the license plate cover and the fuel door) and the paint shop said it was a standard Corvette color. It might be cyber grey. The quality of the color change was exceptional. It does not look like it has ever been repainted let alone changed.

Nice, very clean looking Z. I believe the color is Charcoal Metallic Grey. Pretty low production color in 1991. What was the original color ?

No it was repainted this color. I don't believe grey was ever a choice on a ZR-1 but should have been.

It looks similar to Medium Spiral Grey (U88), a color that was used on Corvette in 2003-2004.

I wouldn't doubt that. The body shop that did the recent paint work said they matched it right up with a Corvette grey. I asked which one and they didn't remember.

Bob,
96U Charcoal Metallic 1990 = 76 produced, 1991 = 27, However I agree with Joe the spiral grey is maybe a shade or 2 lighter than Charcoal but either way the car looks great and you have it price very reasonably too. good luck with your sale !

What have you fixed on it so far? I remember you have listed a list of issues the car had when you first bought it?

Thank you for the info. While I knew there were grey Corvettes, I had been told they were not Zr-1's So the numbers above are ZR-1 numbers? thank you.

I have done a lot to it. new injectors, new coil pack, some new sensors,

new head tank, new cooling fan, stripped and re-painted the intake, found an original and correct radio, new mats, new correct emblems, new rubber gasket under fuel door, re-painted the fuel door and added and painted a new front license plate cover. Bought some new interior pieces that have not been installed, changed out the steering wheel and air bag. I runs great and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. I am very picky and into cars. It still isn't perfect but is priced to take that into account. The car is low mileage but sat for years which can be harder on a car than driving it. It was literally in a barn in Colorado when I found it and drove it to Texas. I have taken it to show and it actually wins! Visually it is very nice. Just a few bugs to finish which I don't have time to do as we are getting a race car finished and prepped to race in April.

Yes, I got the #s from the ZR-1 Net Registry, pretty interesting to sort through the history along with tech. data and production #s

beautiful car, I wish this was for sale 2 months ago when I planned on buying mine. I love that grey. Cyber grey metallic and electron blue are the nicest colors ever put on a vette.
