How many of you guys detail your under carriage's? Im working on mine and was wondering if im the only nut. I took off my wheels today and polished the inside of the rims they look sweet I also detailed inside all the wheel wells control arms etc. I will post some shots as soon as I fiqure it out.
How do you attach photos ? I want to put my car in some concourse shows and what Im told you can even have brake dust on the inside of the rims. Am I nuts?http://images.corvetteforum.com/images/smilies/drool5.gif

:) Really a nice looking job. I do the same thing during the winter lay-up months. Not much else to do so I figure I might as well keep her clean. Very cheap entertainment!!!!!!!

No, you're not Ray. I've done some cleaning up underneath, but not to the extent of having it show car ready. I enjoy driving it too much, and quite honestly can't justify spending the time underneath it to painstakingly remove every bit of dirt and grease. Having said that, yours looks great!:thumbsup:

ok..im guilty as charged spent an entire sunday...detailing underneath the car..it sure was fun..splaining that to the wifey....she says,
"let me get this straight...you're polishing the underneath part that no one can see?" i told her i could see it...she went in the house...she thinks i have issue's....i told her to eat me...she smiled... and gave me the finger

:-({|= Yeah, I admit that the truth hurts...I can't even fit my arse underneath after raising it a foot.
You better be careful Keith....I've found that you have to be nice to wifey when you're slithering around underneath there...especially if she knows how to operate a floor jack.:pray
