Hey guys,
I'm back and forth between having Dr. Don add an aux cable to my stock bose or to swap it for a double din. I Would most likely just go double din but I'm concerned with cutting the stock radio support. If I do this will I be able to go back to stock and have the factory bose fit properly? Also, if I go double din can I buy a pig tail that'll make it plug n play? I don't want to cut the stock harness.
TIA,
Mike

For what it is worth, I had Dr. Don put the aux cable on my stock Bose. The aux input is in the center console for ipod or XM radio hook up. Santa getting me the XM radio and it sounds good playing off my son's phone.

Looks good Charlie. Nice job hiding it in the console. That is the way I'm leaning since It's the cheaper way out and I want to be able to go back to stock.

It took a while but I got the XM radio hooked up, sounds great. The antenna is hidden under the rear plastic latch area so it does not show at all and reception is fine. Having a direct hardwire to the cassette circuit is the best you can get without replacing the radio.
