Is there anyone residing in southern Cali or on the border of Arizona/Cali that would be willing to look at a ZR1 for me. I live all the way in NJ and would like a ZR1 owners opinion on buying a car I had my eyes on. Im awaiting a text from the owner for the exact town the car is parked in. If someone is willing to help me out please PM me and I will shoot you the details.

Ok, so I just got word that the car is located in Castaic, California. I've been contemplating flying myself and driving the car home, flying there and delivering the car etc. But it would be a terrible trip if I spent $1000 on a flight and find out the car isnt what the pics make it out to be. I've been waiting my whole life to experience the LT5 as I used to own a C4 loved it but i felt the LT1 ran out of pep at high RPMs.

You don't have to worry about members here steeling your deal, It may turn out the owner is a member or someone knows the history of the car.
Good luck.
1k to fly there 1500.00 in gas and tolls etc to get back. There are some great deals on very nice cars through the Registry.

Wrong side of Los Angeles for me- too hard to drive thru that area twice in one day. Buying sight unseen is definitely a nail-biter. I'm think gas would be $350 to drive across the country.

I couldn't post it while at work. I'm looking for a low mileage 1991-1993 Z that is stock or at most have an exhaust, intake, chip. Black, or red preferably. I want to get the cleanest one I can for $20,000 or less. There is one in North Carolina with only 9000 miles but I'm not a big fan of white. If you guys know of any others I can't find that are closer please let me know, but I do like this car a lot and if someone lives close to it could check it out I would probably just pay to ship it to my house! I'd be happy to pay someone to inspect it for me. I read sometimes the transmission goes, secondaries, injectors, throw-out bearing etc. I'm hoping all the hoses and weatherstrips are in great condition which the owner told me there are. He said the only issue is the radio makes white noise.

I may consider a 1990 but i prefer the newer nose. I would like to get one with lower mileage but I can't find any reasonably priced. This is the best one I found. I read some of you guys saw that the black one in Virginia but it was in bad shape at a dealership. I wouldn't mind buying one from a member but there was only high mileage ones.

On the plus side, the ad does note that it's the "perfect first car". Yep, a 400hp Corvette is exactly what I want to get for MY 16-year old son! HA!

It appears to be in very good condition, a little hard to assess fine details due to the resolution of the photos.
For comparison, I wanted to provide you a link to a car I seriously considered for a couple of days, it’s in Illinois. The Polo Green ’91 in the link has about 42,000 miles on it and they are asking $19,995. It has accumulated more than double the mileage of the red Z you are looking at. For 20K, the red Z seems to be one heck of a deal if you compare it against the Polo Z in the link.

I thought about getting the Polo Z to restore it, if you go through the images, it needs quite a bit of work, the seats, the carpet, even the LCD display have issues; but for $19,995, I decided it’s overpriced. I’m in the looking mode at the moment, hope to find one locally here in Columbus and have a forum member look it over with me.
Good luck with your decision, hope you get the car of your dreams.
