Corvette Adventures!

This is a "Headz Up" for the Corvette Adventures gathering come June 11-13. There will be several tours to choose from, from "mild to WILD"!

This Corvette gathering quite popular up here, and in case you couldn't make it to the BG Gathering, this might be a chance to meet and greet fellow Corvette enthusiasts for 3 days of curving roads, food, and good camaraderie with other Corvette people.

I am hoping we can get 6-10 or so ZR-1s to this gathering to represent the ZR-1s in a super setting.

Yup! And, right in our back yard too! I spoke to Gary about it, and he's actually attended a gathering in the past, and highly recommends it. Their web site has the list of tours; several to chose from that extend "shore to shore" across some beautiful roads to several places of interest (and eateries, wineries, and things to see. Should be FUN!)

Welcome to the forum. You are also not alone from the south. I am probably 30-40 minutes south of you and the whole FBI group (Fast Boyz from Illinois) is largely around the Chicago area. Good gang. Next official gathering will probably be at Marc Haibeck's shop in Addison Illinois (www.zr1specialist.com (http://www.zr1specialist.com)) sometime in April. --Bob

You are right Jeff--I forgot that he said he will move it to next fall, probably the 2nd or 3rd week in September. My guess is that we will actually have better weather then. --Bob

Oh! First I heard of that! Well, April HAS been chilly, if not windy too these last few gatherings. Fall would probably offer better chance of good weather!

However, the FBI does gather up every couple months (at least) the year-round for pizza and good cheer. It is 60 miles for me to attend - takes about an hour ea way - BUT an hour in the Z is pure pleasure! So! I actually look forward to the opportunity to get the ol' gal out to stretch her legs ('cept in snow/salt conditions[-X)
