Car should be delivered in a few days ......If you go on there website you can see the car and a video.......Car looks great inside and out .....
My question is I hear a lot of issues with the fuel injectors due to the ethanol ..Has anyone not had any issues with the stock injectors?
( car is in the Chicago showroom and was listed for 19,995.......I picked it up for 18,500 plus 485 to ship to NY)

Just looked on their website, car looks great! Your number is 428. We're glad you found us here and hope that you consider signing up for membership with us. Welcome.
One thing I noticed is that the rear plate frame is missing. I'd call them and see if they have it or know where it is.

Yes, the injectors are not ethanol tolerant and will need to be changed. When? Can't say. Welcome to the club. You'll find everything you need for your car here. -Steve

Well, the injectors died in my 91 at 8,000 original miles so if the injectors in your car are original they will need to be replaced, not if but when. The good thing is everything you need to replace these are easily found including all the info you might need to do the job.

Hey Jeff....
Yes I was reading an article actually a few about this issue...
It's funny, some cars have had the issue and some have not..
I was reading that the Accel injectors you get at Summit will do the trick.
I priced them at 297.00.....
I did send away for an additive that you can put in the gas, one ounce for
Every ten gallons......I'm not really big into throwing additives in the gas,but
It got a good write up online,so I will see how the car is when
It arrives...
Thank you ..

Well, before changing the injectors, I would want to verify they were in fact needed. This can be done by reading the resistance across them immediately after the engine has reached operating temp.
I have the Accel 150821s and have had NO complaints in the 6 years the car has had them. But, the price you quoted is only for 8 injectors. Alas, the LT5 is home for 16 injectors. (So, that doubles the reason to check them out. Raise your hand if you need info on performing the injector resistance check.)
FIC (C link) (http://fuelinjectorconnection.com/shop/viewcategory.php?groupid=106) is a supporter of the ZR-1 as well, and they include gaskets with an order (get the NEW stainless steel injectors!)

Of these......Lol....

I'm in Brooklyn (Park Slope) but my car is in Fishkill (Dutchess County). Likely, yes, the fuel injectors need replacing, but they may already have been replaced.
You can easily check whether they're good or not by checking the resistance... a very useful post is here: http://www.zr1.net/forum/showthread.php?p=17299 (and patting myself on the back, as I made the diagram lol)
