We picked up our '90 from the repair shop on Saturday. You'd never know it had rear end damage. It looks great! :thumbsup:

We now have a B&B Tri-flow exhaust system on it - sounds good but, not even CLOSE to the Desert Development mufflers. The good news is that we THINK we can repair the old mufflers and have them welded to the 3" B&B exhaust. Anyone have any suggestions??

Don't weld them........rig a system up with clamps and try it first. You like, weld. Don't like, reinstall the B&B's. If you can.:)

Out of curiosity, what about the DD do you like better than the B&B?

Deeper, throatier sound. You can LITERALLY hear it coming from 1/2 mile away. :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

My DD had Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers. Others I have seen did also, but I remember that they also were available with Stormer (?) mufflers. Those might have been louder.

If you like the sound, why not just buy the Dynomax's in 3" in / dual outlet configuration? That way it is a true 3" system, and you get the same sound. My mufflers necked down, or had an adapter sleeve to mate the 2.5" muffler inlets to the 3" pipes. Not optimal.

The system is no longer available, but the mufflers are. They were Walker DynoMax Super Turbo's on most DD systems. Go to the Dynomax website. P/N 17760 and 17761 is what mine came equipped with.

DD's are the only ones I've not heard before so I will need to hear them to see how much I like them. If they are deeper than the B&B they must sound :cool:
