Does the z have a specific FSM ?

I've never bought a manual for any car but was interested in one to just save from googling or asking the simple questions like torque specs etc. Does the z have manuals ? I know it's pretty much just the motor that's different but I just wanted to ask anyways.

The FSMs are c4 specific And cover all models for the factory year. There is a LT5 specific supplement however that covers MY 90-95

It is NOT difficult to find and the cover will mention 1990 - 1993 LT5 Supplement but it's information is generally considered good for all model years.

Get a FSM for the model year of your car. There's no substitute for it. Then you can do your own interpretations of what's mentioned from time to time. Once you become proficient with the layout of the FSM it's a great tool. For all years it will be a 2-book package and you want both with 'RED COVERS".

Electrical is included in Book 2 for later model years, for earlier years Book 2 is the Electrical only. '90 &'91 Book 2 is Electrical, '92+ Book 2 is Drivability, Emissions and the Electrical.

You can find the entirety of Corvette info in the 2 book set, but the LT5 supplement is kind of a handy quick reference for torques and component diagrams that is easier to thumb through when you have the plenum off and you need to look up something on the fly.

Mostly it is a collectible in my opinion and I paid $15 for my copy.

Mine for my 95 are labeled 1995 and while there are two books there is no separate VIN J supplement as there was with the 93 and other years. The LT-5 info was incorporated into the books for 1995. --Bob

There will be specific differences over the years with the cars, while they are similar some small differences are across they years. It's easy to pick up a year specific shop manual.

I destroyed my paper copy of mine so I picked a cd rom up off of ebay. Like 30 bucks?
