Lt5motor mount location the same as LS engines or older small and big blocks?
LT5 shares the motor mount type and frame location of the LT1/4 car in the '92+ cars. An LS engine in any C4 build requires adaptation to whichever front cross-member is used. An L98 from '91 & earlier OR an LT5 from '90 or '91 and of course the '92+ LT1/4 which is the same. The '91 and earlier L98 cross-member seems to have the widest assortment of mounting adapters available for the LS engine. The engine mounting bracket (to engine) on the LT5 engine is the same as the LT1/4. When an LS is used with the '91 & earlier cross-member the mount bolted to engine is used.
Your intention is an LT5 swap into something else? An LS to replace an LT5 OR?
