This picture,a bad one at that, was in one of the Corvette parts catalogs a few years ago.Somebody did some digging, talked to somebody in the advertising department of the company and was told that this picture was photo shopped. In your best what would you say a close estimate would be for the tire sizes, the wheel looked to be at least 19s.This is a look Im shooting for,Im back on the -NEED A NEW SET OF WHEELS-kick and Im looking at 19-9.5 and 19-11s with a 275-35 and 325-30.325 only because I cant find a 315-19.http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a136/FLYTYM/DSC00710_zpsfc6d99a2.jpg

Jeff, here are pictures of a C4 ZR-1 with the wheel and tire sizes you are considering...

Was this pic in a Corvette parts catalog, or Lowrider magazine? Looks like its springs failed and it's ready to start shredding tires and bodywork. It's a ZR-1, not a '79 Cutlass Supreme.

You asked for opinions. That's mine, worth exactly what you paid for it. BUT, I guess the good news is that even if you do this to your car, at least it'll still be a ZR-1!

IMHO, too much wheel, not enough tire. I don't think C4 ZR-1's look good with big wheels, any more than vintage hot rods do. Even the stock seventeens don't show enough tire for my old school taste.
Although the black Z above looks as good as one ever will with "rubber band" tires.

Agreed, plus a car can be too low.
