the race was cool...a " red light" got the F16 in front..early...Zr1 was catching up...then...liftoff...and the afterburner...straight frikkin up...awesome....a couple of mach fly by's....i want one...of dem f16's.

Jerry Downey...he's from oklahoma...where the sun comes shooting down the plain...but the sun didn't stop the F16 this time...

Kool pics Keith. I missed the "race" was still off base on Las Vegas Blvd and witnessed the vertical departure. I heard a rumor that the brakes on the jet were not very good and was the reason for the red light.
It was good to meet you folks this weekend, had a great time.

the top 2 pics are of the f15's that were parked next to the car event.
the f16 was only in the pic with the zr1 racing it...sorry for the mixup.

Now I see thats a f16 drag racing! sorry I was thinking it was all the same plane. Cool pics!!
