Okay guys, I have found two sweets mountain runs. Now the bad part they are in Wyoming and Utah. So Who would like to take a ten to fourteen day venture out west?
I would like to try to arrange this so I can hit a car show that is on my bucket list along the way.
Black Hills, Hot Summer nights just to name a few.

Beartooth is in Montana.
Hell's Backbone is in Utah.

With 2015 being the anniversary year of the ZR-1 I was thinking 2016.

Bob,

What happened to the European thing in 2016?

Lots of wonderful mountain runs "out thataway"! Hmmmm..... Have to give that some thought. Have you ever been on US-6 west of Denver along the Clear Creak river...or Royal Gorge (Colorado), or, or, or? The possibilities are endless!

I'm sure some of the Brother of the Beast out in Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming (don't forget Yellowstone!) could come up with a week or more routes that would be phenomenal!:dancing

Dom, With the current price of the ZR-1 and any upgrades that a potential buyer in Europe would want that is probably the better choice.
15K for a car, 5K in upgrades, 3K to ship, 2K round trip Airfare.
2 weeks of driving in the Swiss alps "priceless"
We better get started on this now.

I've been on both and they are great. Durango to Silverton and Ouray is a blast as well. Hard to find a bad mountain run in Colorado.

Hello Robert,
You only have upgrade your car if your going to have it registered, and you sure do not want to that. If you get it registered you have to pay the tax the car.
I forget the time limit. If you go in and out of different countries the time limit resets.

Mark me "very interested", Bob. Schedule is still a little crazy but with lots of advanced planning, I can usually protect dates. I planned to do Route 66 (parts that are left) in '16, but this might be a better option.

Not sure what the "European thing" is, Dom, but I had been talking to some folks about retracing the Z intro route through France etc. Count me in on those discussions too if you guys are seriously considering that.

Pagosa Springs to Durango,to Silverton,to Ouray! Hard to beat that stretch.

I'm retiring January 2016 so count me in the conversation.

Nelson, We have no plans on bringing the cars back from Europe. We are going to find buyers for the Vehicles, Install the upgrades than drive the cars around UK and Europe for two weeks before the new owners take delivery.

Add another leg onto that at the front and start at Alamosa so you can catch Wolf Creek Pass and then you can call that a party. It may not be the switchbacks of The Dragons Tail but I'm telling ya that's where God drives his ZR-1 when he needs a break from the rest of us whiners.
