I've been looking for a car for a while now and stumbled upon this one here in Canada but I'm confused . He says it is a 1991 but I thought the side fender badge only came on the 1992 and up ! Can and do people install a badge on an earlier models ?

Yes it is a common thing with owners to add that badge. I'm not 100% sure but I think it has 90 rims on it, I have a 91 & it came with the "sawblades". Hopefully someone else will chime in on the wheels. Good luck on your purchase.

Yes, looks like a '90 that has had the front and gills updated to the '91 style, or a '91 sporting wheels from a '90. Either way, it's something worth investigating before you buy.

In addition to '91 bodywork, it has '91 seats and a '91 logo on the power key, so I'd say it's safe to assume it's a '91, as advertised, but with '90 wheels. Seems like most guys tend to add those badges to the hood...I added them to my '90.

BTW, even considering the currency conversion rate, that price seems pretty steep for a Z with nearly 70,000 miles on the clock. JMHO
Best of luck!

It also looks like the wheels are mounted on the wrong side of the car.

No, they're correct.
