My factory cataloge calls for a 4.2 X1.2 X .8 bolts(?) and I am at a loss to what size that might be.
These bolts hold the clamps that keep the throttle cables on the top of the plenum and the cover over the end by the throttle body.
I lost one of the nuts (they are 4mm X.75) and all 3 little bolts and need to get new ones and tap out the holes.
Anyone have the correct bottom tap size? (All I have is 4mm X.70 and .75)
I will go up to 5MM if it is a real bastard size and just get 5mm torx button head bolts.

No need for a tap......those screws are self-tapping.
Just installed one last week!

Yes I see that. I have those and thought it was a mistake, I will just tap and stud all 3 of them.
Removable self tapping fastners in aluminum is not a good practice. [-X

.8 pitch is only available in a 5mm tap.
4.2mm would be the drill/hole size required for a 5mm
To me it looks like you will have no option but a 5mm tap.

4mm X.7 set screws into newly tapped holes, then glued in with Devcon will do just fine. Then all nuts will them be 4mm X.7 holding everything...much more better =D>

Devcon SS putty...used it once to seal porosity in a SS WGSR to seal the oil in. Klubersynth 6-460 food grade lubricant.
That Devcon Putty was sure expensive!

I fixed them for good cost less than $2.00 total. 4MMX.7 all the way around.
I am a stud/nut guy where ever possible. Now all throttle cable fasteners are the same and wrenched the same 7MM nut driver...they are now stronger, way less expensive, and lower cost/easier to maintain.
Anyone want a complete set? I have one spare complete set just send me 5 bucks and I will mail them to you in a bubble envelope. VRS 3 X 4.75 plus postage for the self tapping :censored:.
