Does anyone know what the original 1991 ZR-1 floor mats look like? Mine's black with the corvette logo (like on the gas lid) in white/black in the middle of the mat. I'm slowly collecting missing parts or correct replacements and would like to have the correct mats if possible (or correct looking ones if it's no longer possible to get originals in good condition). Thanks!

Those appear to be for 92-96 with the heal pad. The heal pad looks aftermarket, and not GM.

90-91 was carpeted only and have specific part number's L/H R/H

I would need to see the back of the mats to confirm GM parts. Recently have bought three sets that have been advertised as NOS GM only to find out they were all aftermarket.

yep Buyer befware.. However I have bought from that vendor many times before and everything was OEM GM

you see he lists a year range here its possible with the GM part listed in the Ad as P/N 12362168 these are GM replacements

And they may very well be correct 94-96, after a second look they do appear to have the vertical lines on the heal pad.

They would not be correct for the 90-92 cars. No heal pad or hook hole on the drivers side.

The driver's side for the 90-92 cars have a strip of Velcro which was omitted on the passenger side.

I guess it wouldn't make sense to swap out what I have for 94-96 mats since they wouldn't be the correct ones either. At least I know much better what to keep an eye out for. Thanks!

The GM # 12362168 part number was cataloged for all years '88 - '93 but even in the catalog they mentioned that the binding and finish had been "upgraded" to the '94+ OEM standards. Of course the part number was also listed for the '94+ cars with "no notes". This was a problem with the consumer many years ago. A reseller that isn't or wasn't familiar with that information might actually NOT know.

There was a production "pair" for the '90 - '93. GM # 12341098 had applications for code both 10I and 19I interior codes. An earlier number for that package was 12340147, this number I believe would be correct for everything without the "heel pad" and the 12341098 likely for the '92 & '93 that maybe had the "heel pad". Every time I've seen these for sale they always mention '84 - '88 and I don't understand that. I see there are some of those available on eBay.

I don't recall single sides except for '87 and earlier cars.

My 91 vin 1627 has the heel pad
I also received a set for a 91 oe replacements that I got in the gm box a few years ago that has no heel pad,
