Corvette America sells an entire new liner for $149. Mine looked bad when I pulled it out.
Would have never had a sound sleep if I had put new fabric over that broken up board.
My problem is I ordered as always from Corvette Central only to find out Corvette America is the manufacture. The headliner arrived damaged bent in half in a Corvette America box.
Called and asked for replacement from Corvette Central, let the run around begin!
Never ever ever never ever will I ever do buisness with Corvette Central ever again! Did I say Never? Hell yeah!
Ordered another from Corvette America today. Did a chargeback on Corvette Central Today.

The Registry store has some nice embroidered suede headliners for less than the fabric ones at the Corvette stores. Less money, plus you're helping the club. ;)

Nelson,
This is what I used. Comes with sponge backed cloth and a can of spray adhesive. I'll install for you if you want when we have our next WMD maintenance day. I think Ron Kreigh needs the same service also.

I bought the headliner from the Net Registry store, p that looks great, what i need is the foam padding it is glued-to.
Thanks,

I believe I'd visit a local auto upholstery shop and see the offerings. I believe you're looking for KP sheet that is used in most of the later headliners. They should have different offerings I believe in thickness. Catch them in a proper mood and the install might be a bargain. It certainly doesn't hurt to ask. The finish is sometimes worth the professional install. If you didn't have the headliner already they can usually accommodate you with a very nice headliner from remnants that can't do other projects.
I did mine in '03 but I had a relationship with the trimmer.

Thanks for the advice, I will try that. I bought the liner from the Registry store and that looks great.

Mine was borderline when I got it out.
I put a mini-roller to it, with water based Acrylic Latex Black, which checked the dust, and reinforced the pad.
