It's with great pleasure that I report my '90 passed it's final CT emissions exam yesterday and I have joined the ranks of the "exempt".

Hmmmnnnnn......is it time to euthanize the "cats" ??? Thoughts or advice welcomed.

Would be interested to know the answer to that. My 92 is 2 years behind from being similarly exempt in NY... And my DD is a Prius, so my environment conscience can rest easy if the cats are gone too ;)

Doug, my plan for Bennington is to pick my brother up in Peterborough, NH and meet Pete and the group in Dublin for the ride over. See you there.

It's not too often I'm glad I live in MA - we went to OBD2 scan for emissions, thankfully after only one cycle that after a few tries I figure the fellow waited until he had a clean running 350 available for surrogate sniff.

But if you still have stock manifolds, I doubt the cats are an obstacle. So to my eye it's time for headers to celebrate. Me, I'll keep some cats on it just so it doesn't stink idling on grid ;). I'm thinking of chasing some C6Z take-offs as they're tidy and presumably up to the job.

Cheers,
- Jeff

Given the work it would take to remove the cats, headers are making more sense as I think about it. C'mon Santa Claus!
