Jim Hall and his famous Chaparrals was one of my heros while growing up in the 60s and 70s. Cool to see the Chaparrals still getting around the track under their own steam.

One of the greats! Father of Aero. Who can forget the 'sucker cars"? Pulled the asphalt off the tracks.

We stopped in last year and asked if any Chaparrals would be at the SVRA event at Circuit of the Americas later in the fall and got a deer in the headlights look from the curator. I got the impression that the museum owns the cars now ...
