Just wanted to post this in case anyone needed it. My horn was not working, although the alarm did, much to the chagrin of my neighbors :)
After doing some searching it sounded like it might be the horn cam in the steering column. I pulled the column apart and this is what I found:

I couldn't find a part number, although I was told that Autozone had the correct part. The salesperson looked up the part and gave me something which didn't look like it would work. I did not have the column apart yet so I didn't have a clear picture of what I needed. I took my chances with the part below and it worked. Best of all it was only $6.

Hope this info is helpful to someone trying to get thier horn to function.

Thanks for the information and photo/part number
So.......this is a horn cam or turn signal cam? This operates the turn signal?
How difficult and what was the procedure to install this new turn signal cam?
Is the New part you received identical to the Old part you removed?

Hello there! The wire from the horn attached to the post on this part. I believe there is another part that sits below this and a spring that operates the turn signal. This is also made of white plastic. This may be called the turn signal cam as the ribs on the bottom of the part could cancel the turn signal as the wheel comes back to center.
The part was not difficult to install with the exception that you need a steering wheel puller to remove the wheel and there is a wire clip that holds the lock plate on. Compressing the spring to remove and install it was not an easy job, but I was able to do it with a small screwdriver and lots of thumb pressure. :)
The new part was identical to the one I removed, but it came with a black piece of plastic that was glued on the outside, covering the brass tabs you see in the first picture. I just peeled it off and all else was identical.
I apologize for not taking additional pictures and being more detailed. I just noticed from the web search that horns were a problem with these cars and no one had an actual part number for the needed piece. Plus I was trying to give back a little knowledge for all the help I am getting here.
Below is a picture with the steering wheel off and a view of the lock plate. The wire clip is below the wave washer in the picture.

Please feel free to ask additional questions!

The column was pretty easy, you just need some strong thumbs to compress the column lock plate to remove the wire clip holding it in. A helper might be a good idea so they can pry the wire clip out while you compress the lock ring.
You also need a steering wheel puller, but the wheel came off pretty easy.
I don't have an airbag so I didn't need to deal with the connectors for that, but I don't believe that's too difficult.

Now I know why I couldn't get the horn to work on the car, when I installed the Momo steering wheel. After all these years, you figured it out,Tony.
Thanks. That makes me confident in installing another Momo on our 94.
