Kudos to Glenn (gbrtng). Went down to New Braunfels, TX to pick up a set of GCS' today. Great guy and went out of his way to help me out. :handshak:

I agree. Glenn and Mary have been an asset to the Corvette community for a very long time. We're blessed to have them in ours.

You are welcome Jim. Later in the afternoon I got a handshake sale of the 67 coupe - then went to my favorite Chinese restaurant for 3 delight. One of my better days.

Wonderful, original survivor. Lucky man that bought it.

On a side note, the DPS were out in force on my drive back. The guy in front of me was doing 5 over and they nailed him. There were so many cops people were afraid to do the speed limit. Most heavy-handed, POS example of money grabbing I've ever seen. The sad part is, the cops will talk about how they need community support. Hmmmmmm!

Jim I cranked it for 15 seconds to fill the carburetor, saw it squirt gas, and cranked it again and it started. 427 purrs like a kitten - The new owner is nearby so I can keep track of the restoration and subsequent Bloomington Gold survivor preparation.

Glad you made home with no arrests - must have been one of those no denial weekends (blow or blood draw required).

They may not call it a tax, but that's what it is.
