Hey guys,

Here's my story........I bought this car on a whim and the thought was to own it for a little while and flip it. My wife and I have a four month old daughter so this probably wasn't the most opportune time to buy a car. Luckily, my wife is into cars and extremely understanding :)

It's a nice car, but needs a bunch of little things. Most are common ZR-1 issues but some are not as this is a modified car.

Anyone have suggestions for a project name? The winner gets a ride in the finished product.

Unfortunately I don't know which cams are in the car. The PO said they were Jeal cams and an older invoice just shows replacement cams. Maybe Clint will chime in and clear things up.

Hi,Tony. Your ZR-1 had a ton of upgrades done to it,when I shipped the car to the Vette Drs. back in June 1998. Two of Geoff Jeal's products were included in the package;his 2" stainless steel headers and his new intake cams. If someone here would post the lift & duration numbers for the 90 intakes,I can get you pretty close with the Jeal units.
I gave up all the documentation to David Haag in Texas, back in 2002,and have lost most of the online material I had, since then. Sorry.

Thanks for responding Clint! I do have the receipts that were provided from the previous owner who bought it from David. I saw the cost of the cams :jawdrop: but no specs. No worries, I'm sure they will pop up someplace.

As for this being my car, I am just the current caretaker. It will always be your car as you built it and made it the car it is. :notworthy

I only hope I can reverse some af the affects of age and make it a fun car once again.

Tony,I owned that car for five years and enjoyed it greatly. It's yours, now.
We just rent these things as time waits for no one.

Agreed! I'm just glad I have the opportunity to own it for a little while :)
