Does anybody have Tunerpro bin and data stream definitions for a '91 LT5 you'd be willing to share? I don't see any on the Tunerpro website nor any place else on the Internet. And I don't have the time to build them from scratch!

I'm looking for the .xdf bin definition and the .adx data stream definition files. I've got them for '90 and '93 but they don't work for '91. :(

I don't know the correct tag for the '91 .xdf file. What is the difference between the $AF and $AFA files? I have FO and FOA files for '93 and use FO for my car but never figured out what was different about the FOA file.

Each model year has 2 masks. An $xx and an $xxA. The 93-95 is an $F0 and $F0A. So 90 is an 8E and 8EA, 91 is $AF and $AFA, 92 is a $D0 and $D0A.
So as an example, 92 was initially issued w an AZZC broadcast which is an $D0 while a later change was made in the broadcast BPPA which is a $D0A.
The change in these broadcast codes happens somewhere in the 07 address.
This is why you can read part of the bin correctly with either version of the mask, but if you save one BC using the other mask, it will not run properly because everything beyond the 07 address is moved. So the VE tables, as an example, are wrong.
I use the displacement/cyl. and the injector size as a check that I'm using the correct mask.

Where did you get the ADX that you currently have? Looking at the stream info the 90 should mostly work, with exception of a few flags. In fact 90-95 are all very similar with the output. The XDF will be different

The xdf and adx files for the '90 and '93 thru '95 are available from the Tunerpro website. When I downloaded them a few years ago, I had to do a lot of hand edits, build the temperature tables, etc.. They've probably gotten better since then.

The best are the ones done by Tod Pepmeter, he had the actual GM calibration code to check them against.
