8 ZR-1’s at Mecum auction today in Indianapolis. Overall impression, mint condition cars sold at give away prices.
1. Lot S61, 90ZR-1, 112 miles, Metallic Red and Saddle. Mint condition, no flaws.$31,000 high bid, no sale wanted around $40,000.
2. Lot S106, 95 ZR-1 s/n 447, last 95 sold to public, yellow with black interior. 400 milles pretty bad delam around windshield, and paint bubbling on throttle plate pretty bad. Other than those 2 things mint condition. High bid $85,000 no sale wanted close to $100,000.
3. Lot S121, 90 ZR-1 Red on Red, 396 miles, mint condition. $33,000.00 sold.
4. Lot S122 91 ZR-1 765 miles excellent condition, $29,000.00 sold.
5. Lot S123 92 ZR-1 254 miles Red on Red, some windshield delam, otherwise excellent.$29,000.00 sold.
6. Lot S124, 93 Ruby ZR-1,1425 miles excellent condition, 45,000.00 sold.
7. Lot s125, 94 ZR-1, Red on Red, don’t know mileage, mint condition $35,000.00 sold.

After what I saw today, If you have a ZR-1 that you love, drive and enjoy it all the time, because it’s never going to be worth a fortune to anyone else.
