I am due for my engine oil change. How important is it to use !0/30 rather than
5/30 fully synthetic ? Any thoughts would be welcome.

Pat

10W-30 would be my first choice but 5W-30 will be OK too. Remember the first number is flow rate at 0 degrees C (I think) so it's mostly a don't care in temperate climates.

I experienced more oil consumption with 5W-30 in my '90.
