Hi guys,
My name is Scott, I'm new to the Baltimore/Washington area, and have been a ZR-1 owner for the past 7 years. Unfortunately, we moved from Colorado to Australia to Washington state and now to Maryland over that time, and I haven't been able to get as involved with the hobby and community as I would have liked. We're planning to stay here until the kids get through school - and I know that there is a very active group of ZR-1 owners throughout this region - so no better time than now to get connected.
About my cars: the '91 (white/saddle) is a basically stock car that traveled with us on each move, and the '90 (turquoise/black) is new to me as of this weekend, but has had a few mods that really wake it up! Both cars are fairly low production numbers - 351 white in '91 but only about 17 estimated white/saddle, and there were only 16 turquoise metallic in '90. I may not do much more to the '90, but will definitely be making minor mods to the '91 after driving the new car!
Hoping to meet up with other owners in the area soon - I saw that there are fairly frequent maintenance days in Westminster, which is right down the road from me, and I would definitely like to participate in those to learn what I can and keep things running correctly. Honestly, I'm down for just about anything - shows, track days, drags, whatever - but know that my car probably won't be the most shiny or fast one there.
Cheers,
Scott
