All,
Mercury Marine Racing has extended an invitation to the Registry for a visit to
the MMR HQ in combination w a plant tour (where they build the QC4V) and their newly opened MMR Museum. On display in the museum is a C4 ZR-1. Their facilities are located in Fond du Lac, WI about 120mi. north of Chicago. BTW, they are very close to the EAA in Oshkosh, WI.
How many of you would be interested in participating in a delegation to going up there and which month would work best for you?
1. June
2. July
3. Aug.
4. Sept.

FWIW, I voted for June Dom, if it's the right weekend. The daughter has a volleyball tournament in Florida to attend, and the entire family is going.

Thanks Joe. Would love to have you along. The invite for the factory tour would be a weekday thing. If you could swing that great, otherwise completely understandable.
I may be able to do a June run , while in the neighborhood.

Brett,
The latest update is that MM will be announcing an August date for their
75th Anniversary open house. Looks like we will invited to be there. So stay tuned. Think that would e an awesome occasion for a good number of us to go there and feature our cars along w the one MMR has in their museum.

Sounds like a great time. Hopefully, it will be a different week than Corvettes@Carisle. I'd love to do both.

If we end up going there I would also highly recommend a half hour drive further north to the Experimental Aircraft Museum in Oshkosh. Quite large with some great stuff!--Bob

Bob,
What would be interesting is if this event took place during the weeks of the EAA Fly-In.

Looks like it is July 28-August 3. The EAA fly in is a zoo. I even have pilot friends who go but drive. Still it would be fun to see. And the museum is great if you haven't been.--Bob
