It looks that if I want a free flowing exhaust and having drone free cruising then the above is my only choice... I want the community thoughts or experience with the above. Thank you!!!

Have Corsa on the 91 and Flowmasters on 93, like them both Flows have a more euro sound, Corsa more old school.

First of all you can't say B&B and no drone in the same sentence. There is drone with the B&B system apparently even with flappers. This is the system I have as it easily creates the best sound at WOT (subjective I know) but also the most drone.

If you are looking at Corsa's make sure you get in a car with them and listen to the sounds outside the car too. This is were they fail for me...too tinny sounding.

I also have QTP exhaust cut-outs and based upon new reading, I think I would like to retain those, pull the B&B and put in a LT4 system. Heck I could even cut my tips off my B&B if I wanted that look.

That way I have the best of both worlds quiet at cruise and radical when I want to open the cutouts.

If I was in the market for a new exhaust that is the route I would go. If I didn't already have my QTP's I would do it like Tony D did.

if you like the sound of the corsa then corsa is the only choice for what you're looking for.

several members have it, it sounds great from the outside but i can't speak for what it sounds like inside

I haven't bought mine yet, but when I spoke with Marc, he seemed pretty clear on the Corsa being the least restrictive...read: returns the most power lost to the stock system. He also said there was no drone, and that it was relatively quiet inside the car, but quite loud from the outside at heavy throttle. Since I like the idea of scaring small children with my ZR-1, I'm going Corsa!:dancing

I have the OBX headers and exhaust. I've never been in a car with factory exhaust. The OBX is much better than what ever was hacked on the car when I bought it. Wife says drone is acceptable, noise level is acceptable, and it will scare small children at WOT. The cats are glass packs, the resonator is a glass pack, and the mufflers are glass packs. Seems to flow pretty good, I'm happy with it.

Oh, I never got hit for loud exhaust per se, just the fact that the cop callers always tell them when your foot is to the mat and they can hear you coming.

All of these flappers, no drone quests....a real man loves drone because it balances out the Tinnitus he has from using loud power tools.

I currently have Corsa's on my 94. Also have a full 3" B&B in storage to replace the Corsa. To me the Corsa is just not a bullish as I'd like it to be. Still sounds good, I'm just looking for a deeper tone. Heard a Z at BG last year that had B&B and it gave me chills! Like others have said, it's purely subjective. I've lost enough hearing over the years that I don't think a little drone will bother me much. Had GHL'S on my C5. Others said it droned somewhat but I couldn't tell.

Look forward to your install of the B&B to see what you think of the them versus the Corsa....

Since you don't heave headers, there might not be too much "DRONE".

Great comparison though!!!

As many know I also have the QTP cutouts with the stock system. As a result I can have the full range from stock quiet to full headers, no cats open with the push of a button (I substituted a rocker switch hidden under the carpet for the QTP supplied toggle--could not work the toggle where Marc placed it.) It would be nice to position the cutouts so as not to lose the tire carrier. I am talking with Marc about that now.--Bob

Planning on SW headers to go along with the B&B install this summer. We will talk soon David!

Totally agree. I have had the B&B, (below), for about fifteen years, and have learned to live with the drone.
I value Marc's advice, but I don't see how the Corsas could flow as well as the 3" B&B, seeing as it's only a 2 3/4" system.
The nastiest possible version is my "Friday Night" version, (the dragstrip is only 15 minutes away), headers, no cats, 3" system all the way back, Xpipe, with the mufflers pulled off, (less weight=.05e.t.+2mph.). It gives a hellacious shriek that will melt your brain.:dancing

The car I just bought last Saturday came with B&B. The sound is very deep and sounds amazing inside and outside the car. There are certain rpm's/load that the drone will pressurize your brain. My wife didn't complain but I did see her cover her ears when the drone is at its worse. If someone wants pure evil for their car, I would consider trading for a quieter system.

Corsa is 2.5 actually...

I put a Corsa on my stock Z and it had great sound at idle no drone when cruising and loud when you got on it. Now I have SW headers, no cats, other mods and the Corsa. My neighbor says he can hear me from a mile away when I get on it. Cruising is not too bad though. After getting a ride in a Z with B&B when I got home I started talking to my wife and the first thing she said was "Why are you shouting."

No wonder it has that high pitched sound.

Why wouldn't they offer a full 3" system of the same design? I guess it's a factor of tuning, and installation packaging.

Thank you all for all the insight and replyies!!!!! I am sorry if I have asked the exhuast question a few too many times on here but needed to staple down some answers as my decision what to do next have changed. After changing the system with no results it was time to get it corrected! I decided to order the Corsa system. I talked with Marc H as well and he stated time after time he got the best results (HP) numbers from Corsa. He thought maybe due to the fact there are no screens etc to go through. Thanks again :saluting:

Boy if it's not too late I'd get the 14117BLK part number. Same Corsa system but comes in a black tip configuration.
Cleaning the stainless steel tips is a pain in the arse.

That's what I'm getting for my '90. Costs a couple hundred more and harder to find, but those black tips look great!
