A car F/S by an MD dealer looks like it's equipped with a plain hatch - no defrost grid.
Check out @ 5:00...
And does the paint look mis-matched between rear bumper, and rear body upper? Like maybe it's taken a hit? And lost hatch glass too???
Or did some hatches some without heater grid? Polarization shows however...........

Could just be the reflection from the florescent lights in the bumper, since the urethane bumper would have a slightly different angle than the fiberglass to the lights and could make the shade look different in the pic. Same for the spot you circled....could just be a reflection. You'd probably have to see it in person to know.
I can't see, but is the ZR-1 emblem there? The circle there is over where it'd be. If it's an original bumper, there'd be 2 locating holes there if it's missing. I just can't see it in the pic very well.
As for the rear glass, earlier C4s (84-88) had the rear defrost as an option combined with heated side mirrors. I can't recall actually ever seeing one though and it looks like it was pretty rare.
My guess is that the rear glass was either replaced with a used, earlier C4 part, or was replaced with a new, less expensive replacement piece that didn't include defrost.

I think you should be able to find date codes on all the glass - see if they match.
Is there a defroster switch? I can't remember where to find it offhand - if ours has it we've never used it!
Very difficult to judge paint mis-match as opposed simple lighting or color shift by photo, but agree your pic makes it look like it might be re-paint.

All 1989-1996 Corvettes had rear defrost and very few 1984-1988 Vettes didn't. The switch is on the HVAC control unit.
If there's no defrost lines, there's really not much need to check date codes....the glass isn't original.
It's really hard to get much out of the low resolution video captures, though.
When it comes to colors like Dark Red, I agree with Jeff completely in that it's tough to tell about re-paints without seeing it in person and in a couple different types of light.

Paint doesnt match but Ive seen where the flex additive would discolor the paint on bumpers in the past.Based on the fact that the rear window might have been replaced Id look for body damage.

I found the video and the dealership. Looks like the car was sold...

In the photos, the defrost lines are visible. Although it's hard to see in the video for some reason. It looks pretty good in the photos. I think the difference in color in the video is just a product of lighting.
