I wish I had the funds to buy that car. Price doesn't sound too bad,IMO.
Hopefully, one of our members here will grab it.

Yeah - price sure DOESN'T sound too bad... Kinda' bothers me (as if I was even considering).

Still tho', must be at least some minor issues.

Welcome onto the boards there LNT; looking for a Z?

Yes I am looking for one. May have found it. I am flying to Denver in a couple of weeks to look at it and if it as advertised, I will be driving it back to Dallas. It is a '91 barn find with 43k miles. (It actually is in a barn). Very cheap but needs some work which I am looking forward to doing.

Looks like the roadster that Mike Beal had?
Last seen @ Carlisle.
If so, except for a few mods, you'd swear it came out of the factory!
Just because it may be garaged in a barn, that doesn't mean it's
a "barn find"...

Is there a Market Definition of 'barn find'? Or does Hemmings have a definition? Or DuPont? BJ? Mecum? Mystic?

ed.:
Holy COW!!! Wikipedia has a 'definition' for 'barn find'!

But alas, it's subjective, so it means squat. Meaning call it what you want...

I tried to buy it from Mike Vietro a few yrs ago when I sold a 53 but couldn't come to a deal on price. It's a nice car that was done right. I'm building mine now anyway.

I stored my 71 GTX in my Mothers garage for 21 years.
If I had sold it to someone; it would have been called a barn find.

You've got a barn at the Indiana house?
I'll bet you knew where the GTX was for every minute of
those 21 years, so how can it be a "find"? :)
Maybe you could write a book?
"The GTX in the Barn... I Mean the Garage" :dancing
Can I get an autographed copy? Bring it to breakfast
Saturday.
D. :)

There is a barn; after all it is Indiana!!!
It would be a find for everyone but me.
After I am dead; it will be a barn find!

Big John,
I live in Indiana, and use to own a 71 GTX. Mine was yellow with black interior, 440, slapstick, with air conditioning. I haven't seen it since the mid 70's. Any chance it is your car? 902066
