Finished my first plenum pull today. Was having intermittent no crank problems so I thought I would pull the starter and check the solenoid. Sure enough the contacts were pretty bad so I put a solenoid kit in and cleaned and checked everything else while I was in there. All the brittle vacuum lines kind of scared me as a couple snapped off and I was hoping that I was able to remember where they all went. After reading all the posts with guys having more problems after the pull than before I was crossing my fingers as I turned the key. It fired right up and no codes so it looks like it went back together right. Still too much snow on the ground to take it for a drive. Gives me a chance to do a few more things yet.
Congrats!!
I'll bet you will be cold for awhile. I fished Cree Lake several years ago & got a ride in a twin Otter out of Saskatoon. Great fishing up there. I would imagine you have the northernmost ZR-1!!

There is another one in Saskatoon-a Ruby 93 with low miles. Talked to the guy about a year ago. He says he drives it around the block once a year and it is in the garage the rest of the time. Such a shame. I bought mine to be a driver but with the starting problem I didn't drive it last year much as I was afraid of being stranded. Hope this fixed it. By the way, thanks for the fast service on the gasket set Jerry. They got here in about a week which is fast for US orders.
