There's NIB Shelbys over at the CF - it's a new poster there and in California!

Thanks for sharing. What has to be done to these to make them fit our cars with that offset?

I put mine on just like they came.

The rears stick out about a half inch.

Hawaii,

it also depends on what brakes you are running as to what may need to be done

Okay, thanks. Not sure how many different offsets they have, but I did do some searches and found something about putting the centers on the outside and spacers.

Okay, thanks. I'm limited to brakes right now already with my Dymag Gen IIs and currently stock brakes, but really do want to upgrade one day.

Some info on brakes and Shelbys

Stock C4 brakes, no change needed

C5 brake upgrade, you will need to swap the center to the outside of the barrel, run a 1/4" spacer and use longer studs

Wilwood FNSL (Forged Narrow Super Lites), essentially the Wilwood kit.. Wheels can be used as shipped (center can remain on the inside)

C6 Z06 brakes.. WAY too much work.. need to machine calipers and wheels to get them to work

Thanks Jeff! When swapping the centers to outside is the surface good to go that is now seen (not on the inside) and no work needed?

What are your thoughts on the asking price? I don't remember those being that high, but times change and I'll have to do more searches. I need another set of wheels like a hole in the head, but always nice to have different look every now and then.:handshak:

Correct no work needed for them to look good. As for price, seems high, but these are brand new never mounted virgin wheels.

The seller contacted me,trying to sell them. I tried to purchase them but the seller gave me bad vibes about payment. If I could have found someone nearby to check them out,I might have done the deal. All I'm saying is whoever tries to purchase those wheels, needs to be careful.

I've decided to go with a set of CCW wheels.

I believe you've made a good decision for more than just the "bad vibes". I had no interest in them but I knew you did but not knowing the "seller" I thought I'd just mention the "existence" of the set.

I believe if I were doing something other than OE/GM these days I'd be buying something that in case of a "catastrophic" situation could be replaced.

Thanks for all the thoughts and comments. I am cautious too about the seller not knowing, plus brand new CF account to list the sale too; it could even be bogus scam. The price is a bit high and made an offer shipped to Hawaii and too low so I'm passing. Everything is only worth what someone is willing to pay.

I am still amazed I got a nib set for 800.00 I paid about the same for my NIB set, which was a steal for 3 piece forged wheels by the way.

So true. I paid $1600 for mine a little over a year ago and then I bought another set a few months ago for $1000.
